Welcome to Kapehan Ni Juan, a hidden gem nestled in Bago City, Negros Occidental. This charming cafe, located at GRMP+V32, 3rd St, offers a unique blend of relaxation and delightful culinary offerings, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and travelers alike.

The atmosphere at Kapehan Ni Juan is a breath of fresh air. Located adjacent to the historic Balay ni Tan Juan Museum, this cafe boasts an inviting and laidback environment, perfect for casual meetups with friends or romantic dates. With spacious open-air tables, you can enjoy a serene ambiance while sipping on expertly brewed native coffee, surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of the area.

The menu features an enticing range of options that cater to varying palates. A particular highlight is the use of muscovado sugar, which adds a delightful twist to their beverages and desserts, giving them a unique touch that traditional sugars can't match. While many patrons rave about the delightful pastas, including the Chicken Pasta in chilis, the nachos and nacho fries, suggested by a few, could see improvement, potentially hinting at the cafe's exploratory journey in refining its offerings. Customers like Gonzalo Alangre have praised the delightful cucumber shake, especially when paired with the richly spiced salabat tea, a perfect blend of sweet and spicy that’s worth a try!

A recent review from Jade Bryan emphasizes the great coffee and the relaxing space, making it ideal for groups and couples wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, there’s room for improvement—like enhancing the drink flavor profiles and managing the music volume, which can get a bit loud in the enclosed space.

Another customer, 트르스, highlighted the cool concept of the cafe being beside a museum and commended the overall food quality, showcasing the local charm that Kapehan Ni Juan encapsulates. They noted it as a great spot to unwind while enjoying good company and delectable food.

While some amenities like the restrooms may need a bit of attention—as pointed out by CarmenJoan Algara—the friendly atmosphere and modest pricing certainly trump any minor drawbacks. Snack sets starting from only 750 pesos for groups make this place both affordable and accessible for gatherings.

If you find yourself in Bago City, don’t miss Kapehan Ni Juan. It’s more than just a cafe; it’s a place where culture, comfort, and creativity converge. Sip, savor, and enjoy every moment in this delightful venue where each visit tells a story.

The menu is actually nice. And the concept is actually cool considering that it's beside a museum. The food quality is awesome. And I like that instead of a normal sugar, they use muscavado as a substitute sweetener. The place is pretty laid-back. Two thumbs up!

The toilet needs improvement, no water for washing hands. The food is okay but has room for improvement too.

Great coffee (native) and relaxing place for group and couples which is situated behind the ancestral house of Balay ni Tan Juan in Bago City. Pricing is convincingly modest. I cannot recommend their Nachos or Nacho Fries but their pastas are delicious and worth it. We recommend trying their Chicken Pasta in chilis.

Nice place for chilling with friends. Nice area near the Tan Juan Museum. Enclosed space so it feels private and away from everywhere else. Price is good. They have snack sets for groups priced from 750 pesos up, good for 7 or more people. Drinks tasted ok, nice appearance but taste could be improved for sure. Music is LOUD. Maybe that's one thing they can try to control more. Such a chill space with lots of plants, trees and animals. The blasting music doesn"t have to overtake it. You probably could ask them to lower the volume though, we just never tried.

This place has a really nice and wide, open air tables. Serves very good nachos and cheese fries. The cucumber shake was a delight! My friends ordered both the cucumber shake and salabat tea mixed it and it was brilliant! The spiciness of the salabat and the sweetness of cucumber mixed together was splendid! You should check this place out whenever your in Bago city!

Have your caffeine fix beside the house of Negrense Revolutionary General Juan Araneta. Or relax in the garden of a Fil-hispanic house. Bantayan Park beside the river is nearby.
